Memoir of the Life and Labours of the Reverend Adam Averell

Description

A biography and memoir of Methodist Reverend Adam Averell (absolutely no relation to the Town of Sand Lake Averill family) written and compiled by Alexander Stewart and George Revington and published in 1849 in London, England, in 1849 by Patridge and Oakley. The book has been obviously professionally rebound and is in otherwise fair condition. Although rather obscure, the book remains readily available for sale and online via the public domain per the web links portion of this entry. Thus, has obviously been highly regarded through the ages. An Internet search found no 1849 copies either for sale or recently sold. Thus, this apparent first edition dating back to 1849 may be rather rare and valuable.
