Collection of pressed leaves and flowers and Latin and common English handwritten identifications that were apparently organized by someone named Elizabeth Barnard in the early to mid-19th century. The Groton Public Library donated the book to SLHS in 1986 due to discovering an inscription that read, "Sand Lake near Troy about 1940." Refer to the donation transmittal letter included below for additional information. This entry includes several examples of the dozens of pages of pressing included in the book. The book and pressings remain in relatively good condition in spite of its age and limited preservation to date. Stored in a mailing envelope from the Groton Public Library in Drawer 2 of SLHS File Cabinet Number 5.Cataloged By
