Description
While not a SLHS sponsored publication, this 64-page booklet was superbly researched, written, and produced by two of SLHS's founding members, Charles Viens and Sanford Young. In addition, Sanford was one of the area's best-known and most prolific artists as shown by the trolley he sketched for the cover of the booket and his numerous other paintings and sketches located throughout this site. In addition to discussing the history of the railway, the booklet takes the reader on an imaginary trip from its beginning to end describing likely sights and conversations along the way. Hardcopy is stored in Page Protector 5 of the SLHS Miscellaneous Ephemera and Artifacts Binder stored in Drawer 2 of SLHS File Cabinet 1. In addition, the PDF can be downloaded while fully logged into this system.
