The vintage two piece swimsuit has a halter style top that ties around the neck and midriff and also has a knit rope tie at the front. The bottom of the two piece is a skirt with a cotton jersey lining. The material of the swimsuit is shiny satin blue. Materials used in the 1930's for swimsuits were ribbed wool, silk-wool, worsted wool and rayon-satin jersey. The skirt has a soft felt or velour like crest attached in yellow/gold, including a palm tree and sail boat in the water.
