Context
An aerial view of the beachfront showing the Terrace and West’s Drugstore with cars parked on the beach. West Drugs began as an apothecary open during the tourist season. West Drugs was located just east of the Dardanella on the beachfront, now Beach Drive. By the late 1940's, West Drugs was known as West Beach Store selling fine English china, fishing tackle, souvenirs, candies, post cards and beach supplies and continued to operate the pharmacy. West Drugs and then West Store had a storefront on the west side of Main Street from the 1920's to the early 1950's.
