Bowles Drug Store opened in 1954 and was the first year round pharmacy in Wasaga Beach. Operated by Ted and Grace Bowles, the pharmacy was located close to the intersection of Mosley Street and Joan Avenue (18th Street). The original building rented by the Bowles was a two room building. In 1958, the Bowles built and moved into a new store on the lot next door. The original building still stands.Acquisition
