The Coachman Inn, originally known as Hotel Breakers, was located at 123 Beach Drive, at the corner of 3rd Street and Beach Drive, next to the Miramar, in the area of the original entrance to Beach Area 2. It was built by Lorraine & Wilson McLean, grandson of Sarah & John McLean in 1931. Eventually two additions were added and along with 4 cottages could accommodate up to 60 guests. Circa 1945, Wilson & Lorraine sold the Breakers to Dot & Earl Hancock. The Hancocks operated the Breakers until 1959 when they sold the location to Myrtle & Keith Armstrong. In 1961, the Armstrongs sold the Breakers to Theodore and Dorothy (Dan? - last name not confirmed) when the Hotel Breakers became known as the Coachman Inn. Business licenses show Mr. T. Dangelmaier as the owner of the Coachman Inn from 1969-1974, Lloyd Graham from 1974-1980 and Janet Clark from 1981-1983. The Coachman Inn was eventually torn down and the location became part of Beach Area 2.Acquisition
