William George (Bull) Fielding founder of Playland Park, operated the business until his death in 1954 at the age of 54. His son, Donald Fielding, continued to operate and expand the business until he passed away in 1974 at the age of 44. At that time the Park was left to Bill and Barry Connell, sons of Eleanor Bluestone (sister of Donald Fielding), who operated the park until 1985 when the rides, games and equipment were auctioned off.Acquisition
