Small china bowl from the Capstan Inn, Wasaga Beach

Context

The Capstan Inn was the first beachfront hotel located across from the Dardanella. The Capstan Inn was built in 1911 by the McLean Family. The original Capstan Inn burned down in 1915 and was rebuilt as depicted in this picture. The small bowl has gold trim around the rim with another thin gold border approximately 1/8" down from the rim. A black and white picture of the Capstan Inn with text below: "CAPSTAN IN, WASAGA BEACH." is imprinted on the side of the bowl.
