The carousel horse, originally built in 1915, was purchased by Joe Zaffuto in 1965 from Donald Fielding, the owner of Playland Park located on Beach Area 1 from 1932 to 1985. The carousel horse was an "outside" horse requiring extensive restoration. Joe Zaffuto completed the restoration and donated the reburbished carousel horse to The Town of Wasaga Beach in 2006.Acquisition
