Context
The colour photo shows children playing with pails on the beach at Wasaga Beach. Whitecaps can be seen in the water where there are many people wading. A short distance from the children on the beach, there is a lifeguard stand with a lifeguard on duty watching over the water. People can be seen along the beach in the distance. Lifeguards patrolled the beachfront from the 1950's to the 1990's.
