Opening of the “new bridge” –The Schooner Town Bridge. And building of the Waldhorn Hotel.
Inscription on top plaque on the wooden handle reads: “Official Sod Turning –August 26, 1975 Schooner Town Bridge Wasaga Beach”. Inscription on bottom plaque:”Sod turning September 1976 Karl & Ruth Fuhre- Waldhorn Hotel, Wasaga Beach, Mayor Claire Robertson.
