Context

Dick Cook was an Ontario Provincial Police Officer in Wasaga Beach during the 1930s until 1939. The photo shows Officer Dick Cook standing in front of the first OPP station. The station was a small cement block building located approximately at the intersection of 1st Street and Mosley Street, across from Pedro's. In the photo, two officers are standing in front of the building with two vintage vehicles parked beside the building. "ONT. PROV. POLICE" is visible on the door. This photograph can be seen on Page 72 of "Wasaga Saga" by Thelma Morrison.
