A note attached to an original photo confirms that the plane #G-CAHH Fokker-Universal (Model 4) was used in the Hudson Strait Expedition 1927-1928, and landed at Wasaga Beach.

"G-CAHH was one of the seven aircraft that took part in the 1927-28 Hudson Strait Expedition - six Universals and a Moth. The five remaining Universals assembled at Erik Cove at the end of the expedition to prepare to fly to Ottawa. G-CAHH crashed on take off after a float strut failed. It was then decided to dismantle the aircraft and ship them out instead. G-CAHH was cancelled from the register after the accident."
The aircraft number G-CAHH can also be traced to Library and Archives Canada with information dating 1930-1933. It is thought the original photograph was taken circa 1928-1930's.Acquisition
