The black and white photograph is an enlarged copy of a postcard with several horses and riders on the beach. A vintage vehicle and bicycles can be seen in the background at the water's edge. Horseback riding on the beach was popular from the 1930's until the mid 1950's. There were at least 9 riding stables located in the area during the summer months. Maple Leaf Riding School and Bell's Riding School were located on the beachfront.
