Jones Motor Boats was located on the north east side of the Main Street bridge. A notation on the back of the original picture showing the Jones Motor Boats sign with a view towards the Nottawasaga River reads: "Below Eberhardt Store & bridge" indicating the location.
The business was owned by Helen May Jones and Herbert Middleton Jones. A second original photograph has owner Herbert standing in front of a large Jones Motor Boats sign. Herbert was also a firefighter.
Jones Motor Boats later became Klondike Boat Rentals. Eventually the property was sold to the condominiums now located on the site. Also shown is a Jones Motor Boat pamphlet advertising boat rides with 9 miles of river views in a self-driven motor boat at an initial cost of $2 per hour.Acquisition
