The postcard is glossy finish and has been cut down from the original 5.438" wide x 3.438" high size. The white border is left on the bottom horizontal edge of the postcard. "Main St. Wasaga Beach." is printed in white cursive font across the bottom of the photo. Visible signs in the postcard are: "Welcome to Joyland" on a building, and "Joyland BOWLING 7 ALLEYS" on a street sign hanging from the same building. A sign on the next building reads "PETE'S RESTAURANT" with "LUNCH BAR" on a sign on the next building. There are other signs that are not discernable in the photo. Vintage cars, circa 1930, are parked along Main St. A car in the foreground of the photo has the license plate "283Z2". Hydro poles are along main street. Tree tops are visible in the background. Shadows of cars, buildings and hydro poles can be seen on the street.
On the back of the postcard, vertical gold lines cover the entire back of the postcard. "POST CARD", "MADE IN CANADA", "CORRESPONDENCE", "ADDRESS", "PLACE STAMP HERE. The stamp box includes a CKC logo and stamp box outline. All printing is in light grey/black letters.Acquisition
