Context
In the photograph labelled "JACK STILLMAN", from a Garvey photo album page, a gentleman is walking along the boardwalk towards the camera on Main Street. A sign hanging overhead reads "MALTY-WAY SANDWICH SHOP". In the distance Nottawasaga Bay is visible.
The photos contained in the Garvey collection were photographed and developed by Frank Garvey, Maple Leaf Film Service. Frank arrived in Wasaga Beach in 1929 and opened his photography business operating from two tents on the beachfront. In 2000, the collection was donated to the Town of Wasaga Beach Archives by Judy Garvey.
