The newspaper article, "Motorcycle racing on the beach", written by Volunteer Archivist and Author, Mary Watson, chronicles the history of motorcycle racing on the beach from information contained in newspaper articles in the Toronto Star written by Allan Johnson in 2006. In the 1930's and 1940's, Wasaga Beach hosted motorcycle races on the beach drawing crowds and racers from a distance.
