Postcard - Digital Copy
Context
The picture of the Nottawasaga River shows boats along the riverbank, possibly Eberhardt's Marina, and Nancy Island visible in the distance. A small boat is seen in the left of the photograph with fishing nets visible in the water. Along the bottom of the postcard, "Wasaga Beach" is printed.
The matte, black and white photo has a white border around the picture, a decorative 1/4" border around the picture and white border and an additional white border around the outside edge of card. The "white border" was included on postcards during the period of 1915 to 1930 to save ink.
On the back of the card, "Post Card" is printed/stamped on with "PRINTED IN BELGIUM" in smaller block capital letters with a line above and below it. There is a vertical dividing line down the center of the card with "CORRESPONDENCE" to the left, and "ADDRESS" to the right. The stamp box and other areas of the back of the card are covered by black construction type paper - possibly from a photo album and vertical and horizontal gold/yellow lines.
