Built in 1894, on N1/2 Lot#25, Concession 8, Flos Township, the Marl Lake Presbyterian Church, also referred to as the Van Vlack Presbyterian Church, served the community until 1930. When the church was no longer operational, the Bell family dismantled the church and used some of the building materials to build their home. The church window was located above the front door of the church. Due to the location of the window, it was call a "Transom Window". This architectural element is a style of window that rests on the horizontal beam above the door frame.Acquisition
