Context
The picture is photographed at Birch Haven Cabins and Lodge located at 35 Mosley St., on the north shore of the Nottawasaga River, at the entrance to Nancy Island. The cabins were owned by Frank and Sadie Reeves. Situated in a grove of birch trees, cabins surrounded the lodge where the lounge, kitchen, dining room and main office were located. "Birch Haven" can be seen on the side of a boat with guests waving and, on a canoe, tied to the dock. The Main Street Bridge can be seen in the backgound of the picture.
