Context
The framed painting of a river scene was painted by Evelyn May Nelson. Circa 1972, May and her husband Reg retired to Wasaga Beach, Ontario, to a former summer cottage of 25 years. May was a member of the Wasaga Beach Art Club and enjoyed painting landscapes.
