The Capstan Inn was the first beachfront hotel located across from the Dardanella. The Capstan Inn was built in 1911 by the McLean Family. The original Capstan Inn burned down in 1915 and was rebuilt as depicted on the bowl.
The small bowl has gold trim around the rim with a blue border and pink with green flowers around 3/4 of the rim of the bowl. A black and white picture of the Capstan Inn with text below: "CAPSTAN INN, WASAGA BEACH." is imprinted on the side of the bowl.
A manufacturer's stamp is not present on the bottom of the bowl.Acquisition
