The Strathcona was a roller skating rink and a dance hall. The Strathcona was also known as the “Slipper, Silver Slipper, Huronia, and New Strath . It was located on the beachfront at 10th Street, just across from the Catholic Church. The Hiawatha Inn was on the other side.
