Anthony (Tony) Beck is pictured, 3rd from the left, back row with other members of council. Tony Beck was elected to council in 1949 and served as the first Reeve of the Village of Wasaga Beach. With the exception of a few years, he served in the position of Reeve until 1968. Marjorie Dyer, pictured seated served as Councilor from 1958-1966.
