Ont, MP Simcoe-Grey, 2014 extending greetings and best wishes to the Town of Wasaga Beach on the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of the Nottawasaga Commemorative event. Wasaga Under Siege was an annual heritage festival held in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. The festival, centered around Nancy Island Historic Site, featured historical re-enactments portraying British, American and First Nations participants to recreate scenes from the War of 1812. The hull of the HMS Nancy that sunk during the War of 1812, is on display at Nancy Island.
