Context
The center folded card, is black printing on light blue/green paper consisting of 4 pages - front, back and inside pages. The card is a program from the Van Vlack Branch District of Centre Simcoe Women's Institute dated 1949-50, titled "For Home and Country" with the Opening Ode, listing Officers and monthly programs from May to April. "Mrs. R. Whiteside" is handwritten across the top of the first page.
The Van Vlack Women's Institute was organized July 2, 1930, and continued to operate in the County of Simcoe until it was disbanded in 1989.
