Context

In January, 2000, a binder containing historical information about the Village of Wasaga Beach from 1949 to 1974 was compiled by Town staff, and prepared by Mary Lynn Standen to be made available to the Mayor, Members of Council and all staff. The binder was stored in the Town Office Library behind the Council Chambers and users were required to sign the binder out. In a memo from Eric E. Collingwood, Clerk-Treasurer/Administrator, it is also noted that the binder contains miscellaneous photographs and news articles obtained from former Mayor Clair Robertson.
