Description
Copy, in acrylic, of a postcard with vintage vehicles driving and parked on the beach
Context
The first major transportation route in Wasaga Beach was the beachfront. Vehicles drove and parked on the beach for decades until 1973, when for safety and environmental reasons, the practice was ended. The beach became a recreational space with pedestrian access.
In the photo, vintage vehicles are driving and parked along with pedestrians among them along the entire beach.
The caption across the bottom of the picture reads: "A Section of Wasaga's 8 Miles of Beach, Wasaga Beach, Ontario. -3."
