From the linked newspaper clipping in the Turtle Island News, March 20, 2013 written by Chase Jarrett, Lynda Stanley, retired business woman turned painter, and then owner of Canadian Art Cards, had a collection of about 400 War of 1812 art cards depicting scenes of events that occurred during the War of 1812. Three different art cards created by Indigenous students were produced with the artwork on the front and blank inside and sold online in the traditional Haudenosaunee territory from Southern Ontario into the State of New York and Pennsylvania. Students received royalties for any sales. It is unknown if this practice is currently ongoing.Acquisition
