The Wasaga Beach Community Church was built in 1922 opposite Nancy Island. The church board purchased land and moved the church across the road to its present location, 208 Mosley Street, at 6th Street and Mosley Street. Due to a fire in the spring of 1965, repairs were needed and services resumed in the summer of 1966. Services continued at the community church for 30 years, when after negotiations with the church board, on June 22, 1997, the Wasaga Beach Community Church became the Wasaga Beach Community Presbyterian Church. The church is still operational today.Acquisition
