The Allistonia Hotel was located on the south bank of the Nottawasaga River on River Road East. It was the first hotel to obtain a liquor license in 1962. During prohibition, people frequented the Allistonia for an alcoholic beverage. The location was later a disco and a strip club before it was torn down.
