Description

Man's Turban Holder or shoulder cloth. The two halves have virtually identical chevron embellished borders and nearly identical end panels and are connected with competently 3/8” of competently done needle weaving. Both ends of each have cross stitch design to give an airyness to the design. One side has a pair of peacocks with delicate feet facing each other with a band of progressively smaller triangles going from top to bottom. The other panel has two pairs of peacocks with figures between them that are similar but not identical and not particularly identified as female and male, although the figures are two colors, pink and blue, which is very very rare. It is also unusual that the peacocks’ feet on the side with the figures are not at all delicate, in contrast to the side with figures that are the same color.
