This remarkable gauze turban has uniform tie dye design with occasional threads from the dying process still attached.The coarseness oof the layout of the tie dye and the size of each round tie dye location is clear proof that it did not come from Kutch. It is probably from Rajasthan near the Thar dessert border with Pakistan It is an identical material to the gauze in #35 but the layout which is not at all delicate as the designs in #35 would be if they had been completed.Acquisition
