Tarieng low woven table (tray). "Pha Khao" in Lao, "Chamang" in Tarieng. A circle piece of wood and 18 pieces of bamboo supports its leg. Bamboo sticks mesh frame work attached with rattan and bamboo weaving on top, 5 round bamboo sticks on rim top and bottom attached with rattan and another one braid all with rattan. It took 7 days to weave (not including collecting and preparing mateirals). Used for eating. Traditonally, the Tarieng would spread the rice (they eat white rice usually) on the table itself.Collection
