Tarieng big low woven table (tray). "Pha Khao" in Lao, "D’b Mang" in Tarieng. A big circle piece of wood, 20 pieces of bamboo and 4 braided rattan between each 5 pieces of bamboo to supports its leg. Bamboo sticks mesh frame work attached with rattan, bamboo of open weave technique and another bamboo weaving on top, 7 round bamboo sticks on rim top and bottom attached with rattan and another one braid all with rattan. It took 10 days of weaving, not including collecting and preparing mateirals.
Traditonally, the Tarieng would spread the rice (they eat white rice usually) on the table itself.Collection
