Bohnsack Consolidated School operated eight grades from 1921 to 1965 and a high school until 1952. The brick school building was demolished in August 1990.
The assets and liabilities of the Bohnsack School district were settled in 1970, as reported in the 22 January issue of the Hillsboro Banner.
A Bohnsack School reunion was held in July 1976. The reunion program committee compiled a list of names for those former students interested in the 1976 reunion, even if they could not attend the festivities (click on Former Students of Bohnsack Consolidated School, a 1976 reunion).Acquisition
