This folder contains selected pages from a history of Knud and Mari (Solum) Swenson (Tovsrud when in Norway and Minnesota) as described on pages 11 to 31 in the book "A family History for Hannah [Swenson] and John E. Ludwig, Residents of Hillsboro, North Dakota, USA, in the late 1800s and early to mid-1900s" written in 2016 by John A. Ludwig, which is available in the TCHS Resource room, Plummer House, Hillsboro, ND. Knud and Mari had ten children, including Liva Swenson-Tovsrud (Mrs. Ole I Hanson), Hans Swenson-Tovsrud, Maren Swenson-Tovsrud (Mrs Ole H Baglien), Swen Swenson (m. Caroline Haarstad), Bertha Swenson (Mrs Jake Walters), Ingeborg Swenson (Oluff Svenson), Annie Swenson (Mrs Albert A Sorum), Andrew Swenson (m. Mary Arnegard), Elling Swenson (m. Huldis Engebretson & Hannah Sundby), and Carrie Swenson (Mrs Oluf Hagen), who all lived at times in Traill County, ND.
