Rev. J. Lonne served as pastor for three Lutheran congregations in Traill County from 1883 to 1897, including AAL of rural Mayville, Zion Lutheran in Hillsboro and Aurdal Lutheran in Portland. The 29 September 1933 issue of the Hillsboro Banner reported that Rev. and Mrs. J. Lonne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on 24 September 1933. Recently retired, Rev. and Mrs. Lonne resided in Byegate, Montana.
