On 12 June 1962, Traill County Superintendent of Schools, Esther Miller, directed the 31st Annual Eighth Grade Graduation program for rural and consolidated schools, which was held at the Hillsboro High School Auditorium. The program for rural school graduates began with a Processional and ended with a Benediction and Recessional. Songs on the back cover were sung during the Program.
In 1962 the following rural and consolidated schools had eighth grade graduates:
Belmont No. 5: Susan Hauge
Bohnsack Consolidated: Brian Bohnsack, Anne Ludwig, Sharon Nilles, Wayne Pederson and Anthony Sandbo
Ervin No. 3: Lynette Mohn and Roselyn Rothecker
Herberg Consolidated: Laurie Beach, Thomas Hemberger and Sue Lindgren
Viking No. 3: Robert Berg, Nada Hanson and Rosemary Hanson
