As described in Traill County History, Vol. II, on pages 130 and 131, the Rev. Cyrus Savereide and wife Elvera (Lindquist) Savereide arrived in Hillsboro in 1941, and served Our Savior's Lutheran Church for many years. They had four children, Thomas, Pauline, Mary and John Mark Savereide, who all attended schools in Hillsboro.
