In 1913 the first (vol. 1) Mayville High School Yearbook was published by the Class of 1913. This 1913 Yearbook was titled: "The Mayvolume". This 1913 yearbook and was donated to the Goose River Heritage Center in Mayville, ND, by Henry Kjos in 1979 where it is on public display.
In 1913, the tenth graduating class of Mayville High School included four pages of photographs for 13 students: Sarah Anderson, Ovidia Andrew, Dorothy Cummins, Helen Elkin, Emma Evans, Inez Henry, Henry Kjos, Ellen Lura, Kalma Olstad, Cecil Smith, Francis Sommerfeldt, Sigrid Sorum, and Maude Warren.
The 1913 Mayville High School Yearbook also included six pages describing the history of schools in the village of Mayville. A new eight-room brick school building was first used in 1897. High School classes began in 1900 with the first five students graduating in the Class of 1904.Acquisition
