Description

This family history entry has images of Mary Bohnsack, who was born in 1855, the third daughter John & Maria (Heineke) Bohnsack, 1879 pioneers of Traill County, DT. Mary was raised in Wisconsin (photo), and came with her parents to Traill County. This entry also has a page on Mary in a document on Bohnsack family history compiled and written by Dorothy (Bohnsack) Odlaug, a granddaughter of Charles Bohnsack. Mary Bohnsack (photo) married Herman Lindeman (photo) of Traill County (wedding photo). Tragically, Mary and Herman had an eight-year-old daughter who drowned in the South Branch of the Elm River located near the Bohnsack homestead in Section 14 in Bohnsack Township. When Mary's husband Herman died in 1883, she married William Fruetel of Plymouth, Wisconsin (wedding photo). William was born in June 1855, and died on 9 June 1894. Mary (Bohnsack) Lindeman Fruetel died in 1894.
