To combine two rural one-room schools, Bohnsack Consolidated School was built in 1920 and 1921 in the SW Qtr. of Sect. 15 in Bohnsack Township in Traill County. Bohnsack Consolidated High School opened in September 1921 and graduated its first student, David McSparron, in May 1925. Bohnsack High School finished in May 1952 after graduating its last two students, Lyle Larson and Jeanne Widley. Bohnsack Consolidated grades one to eight operated until May 1966, when this Bohnsack Township school permanently closed with student going to schools in Hillsboro, Grandin, and Hunter. In January and in May 1925, during the 1924-25 school year, High School teachers at Bohnsack Consolidated School assessed and graded the students in their classes. Bohnsack High School Teachers during the 1924-25 school year included Olga Korsmoe, Gertrude Jeglum, and Carl Stevens.
Bohnsack Consolidated High School students listed by subject in 1925 included Russell Bennett, Donald Bird, Ethel Bird, George Bird, Erwin Bohnsack, Alice Krohn, Dorothy Ludwig, George Ludwig, Eunice Martin, Ruth Martin, Florence Oldham, David McSparron, William 'Bill' McSparron, Irene Radebaugh, Phoebe Rediske, Eddie Weible and Hilda Weible.
The 1976 Bohnsack School reunion booklet documents that one student, David McSparron, graduated from Bohnsack Consolidated High School in May 1925.Acquisition
