Context

Mrs Andrew (Berthe nee Ronningen) Sorum married Andreas Jakob Sorum in 1857 in Allmakee County, Iowa. By 1882, Andreas and Berthe Sorum, and children, had settled on a farm by Hillsboro, where they raised their 11 children. Their youngest, Otto Sorum was born in Traill County in January 1882.
