Description

A book on the family history of Leo F. and Mary L. (McCoy) Henn was compiled and published in February 2013 by Jerry and Daniela Henn following a family reunion held in August 2012. The book includes descriptions of how Leo's ancestors came from Germany and settled in America, with eventually his parent's George L. and Emma (Brehn) Henn moved to Herberg Township in Traill County, North Dakota, from Illinois in 1913. Leo F. Henn was born in 1914 (Family tree, below) and grew up in Herberg Township. Leo F. Henn married Mary Lucille McCoy on 26 November 1941 in Kelso, ND. As shown in Leo and Mary Henn's family photo (left), they had six children, who they raised in and around Kelso. Their family history book describes the lives of their six children. This book by Jerry and Daniela Henn, titled "Chronicles of the Henns" is available for view in the Resource Room at the TCHS Plummer House Museum.
