As shown in the 1900 Traill County Atlas map for Norway Township, Norway School No. 5 was located in the southwest corner of the SW Qtr. of Section 34. In 1900, School No. 5 was one of five rural schools in Norway Township.
In the Summer Term of 1894, the Norway No. 5 teacher was Mat. Erickson.
On the Register pages for June and July, Mat Erickson kept attendance records for 21 students including Mary Anderson, Ole Anderson, Clara Brein, Jennie Brein, Milla Brein, Knut Fossum, Bernt Johnson, John Johnson, Johnny A. Anderson, Casper Manger, John Manger, Magnus Manger, Ole Manger, Axel Norby, Oscar Norby, Emil Ostlund, Wilhelm Ostlund, Adolf Overmoe, Amalia Overmoe, Jul L. Overmoe, and Olina Varnson.
The 1894 Norway School No. 5 Teacher's Registry book was donated to the TCHS where it is available for viewing at the Traill County Museum (Plummer House) in Hillsboro.Acquisition
