Description

In September 1949, the Red River Valley Telephone Company published their Directory for Aneta, Buxton, Hatton, Mayville, Northwood, Portland, Reynolds and Thompson. Their publication provides two pages of general Information (below) including that "Communications are limited to five minutes. Do not linsis on holding line over time limit." Pages 5 to 21 provide an alphabetical listing of Red River Valley Telephone Company users. This Red River Valley Telephone Company directory originally belonged to Albert Renden of Cummings, ND, and was donated to the TCHS by Jeannine (Lovas) Bryant of Lincoln, NE.
