Description

This Alexander and Bertha Müller folder includes a description of how in 1909 Alexander Müller purchased the historic Harry J. Cooper homestead (shown at left; see Catalogit family history entry 2025-215.1), which was provided by their great grandson, TCHS President John Wright (below). As noted, Two of Alexander and Bertha Müller's sons, Alvin and August helped them operate the farm and later occupied the farmstead. A brief history of the Alvin Müller family was included on page 113 in Vol. II of "yesteryears", Traill County History (below), which included a photograph of two of Alvin's children, Leonard and Cheryl Müller. And, a brief history of the August Müller family was included on pages 113 & 114 (below). Further, Alexander and Bertha Müller's daughter Mary Müller married John Vettel, a pioneer in Caledonia Township in Traill County (see Catalogit family history entry 2022.683.1).
